Dr. Mercier-Couture:
an impressive journey
Dr. Geneviève Mercier-Couture is originally from Quebec City. A medical graduate of Université Laval, she completed her training in plastic surgery at the Université de Montréal and graduated from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in May 2016. She subsequently subspecialized in reconstructive microsurgery by completing a year at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the largest cancer center in North America. This final year allowed her to develop solid training in peripheral, breast, and facial reconstruction.
Truly passionate about the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Mercier-Couture offers her Aesthetic medicine services at her clinic in Quebec City while working at the CHU de Québec where she participates in oncological reconstructions, the treatment of hand trauma, and the care of major burn victims.

Dr. Mercier-Couture contributes to the international reputation of plastic surgery by participating in annual missions to Romania and Vietnam, except during the Covid period. During these missions, she and other microsurgeons share her passion for microsurgery and reconstruction with plastic surgeons living in more remote regions with fewer resources.
In Quebec, Dr. Mercier-Couture is actively involved with plastic surgery residents. She teaches at Université Laval, participates in resident exam simulations, and is co-director of the university's plastic surgery program. She cares deeply about her profession, in all its aspects and diversity, and she shares it with passion.

Stephanie is the clinic's nursing assistant. She provides PRP facial/hair treatments and CoolSculpting. She meets with you before your surgery to ensure all your questions are answered and you are ready to move forward. She also provides close post-operative follow-up with you.
